Sea Shell Konjac Sponge
NATURAL COMPOSTABLE SPONGE
Made from natural konjac root (a porous vegetable that grows in Asia), konjac sponges were first created as a way for Japanese farmers to cleanse a baby's skin, so they're a much gentler way to exfoliate dead or dry skin during your daily face wash. The sponges are so gentle, you can even use them on your eyes to get rid of tough eye make-up without irritating this delicate area.
The color of the sponge does signify any active ingredients within the sponge:
White – Kaolin Clay
Red – French Red Clay
Blue – Hyacinth
Yellow/ Orange – Turmeric
Konjac sponges harden when dry; so simply let them soak in the shower or sink for a minute to soften them up before using. The shelf life of this sponge is roughly 6-8 weeks (if you use it daily and rinse after each use), but don’t just toss it out, these are biodegradable. Compost them with your fruits and veggies if possible.
